On the same day the MLS secondary transfer window opened, Atlanta United announced the appointment of Dimitrios Efstathiou as the club’s new Vice President of Soccer operations and strategy.
“Efstathiou comes to Atlanta United from Major League Soccer, where he previously served as Vice President, Business & Legal Affairs for MLS and Soccer United Marketing (SUM) and most recently as Senior Vice President of Player Relations & Competition. He will report to club president Darren Eales.
Efstathiou has experience within MLS. He’s joining Atlanta United directly from Major League Soccer.
