Atlanta United fell 1-0 to New York City FC Wednesday night at Red Bull Arena. Brad Guzan tied his season-high with six saves, however Atlanta saw its unbeaten streak end at five games.
Guzan was called into action early in the match and came up with a crucial save. Tayvon Gray played Jesus Medina into the box for a one-on-one opportunity, but Guzan rushed out to the penalty spot and blocked the shot off his chest.
Atlanta’s best chance of the first half came in the 28th minute. George Bello received a pass on the left side in the attacking half and made a darting run towards the box.
