Atlanta United will play Charleston Battery in the Fourth Round of the 2019 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup at MUSC Health Stadium in Charleston, South Carolina on Tuesday, June 11 at 7:30 p.m. EST. All 2019 U.S. Open Cup matches will be available on ESPN+. A knockout style competition, the U.S. Open Cup (USOC) is the longest-running soccer tournament in America and third-longest in the world. This year’s champion will be automatically placed into 2020 Concacaf Champions League.
This marks the third consecutive year in which Atlanta and Charleston will face each other in the Fourth Round. Atlanta won both meetings with a 3-0 win during the 2018 tournament and a 3-2 win in 2017, both played at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia.
