While Atlanta United were getting the better of the New England Revolution up in Foxboro, Mass., Atlanta United 2 made sure it would be a two-point night for the organization.
Gordon Wild and Jackson Conway scored their first goals of the campaign - with Conway’s goal standing as the first of his professional career - as ATL UTD 2 knocked off North Carolina FC 2-1 at Fifth Third Bank Stadium on Saturday night. Atlanta now have back-to-back wins and sit at 3-1-2 on the season.
Atlanta held marginally better of the play to start the match, but Brendan Moore was called upon to make some big saves to keep NCFC off the board.
