Atlanta United 2 today announced it has signed forward Lamin Jawneh, pending league and federation approval. Jawneh signed after participating in the American Family Insurance Dream Tryouts.
“Lamin impressed us at the Dream Tryouts and has earned a spot on our roster,” said ATL UTD 2 head coach Stephen Glass. “He is an attack-minded player with an eye for goal and finding a player like Lamin shows the value of the Dream Tryouts.”
Jawneh previously played for Greek club GAS Ialysos where he signed in 2018. He is a native of The Gambia, the same home country of teammates Modou Jadama and Baboucarr Njie.
