Atlanta United 2 battled back twice to draw 2-2 with Sporting KC II in the final match of the five-game homestand. Coleman Gannon notched his second goal of the season, while Bradley Kamdem Fewo secured his first goal of the season in the second half to help Atlanta earn a point at home. Atlanta still sits in second place in the Central Division with 12 points.
Atlanta patiently kept possession for the majority of the first half. However, SKC II saw the first opportunity of the match in the 9th minute. Amadou Dia served in a corner kick and found Daniel Barbir at the back post, where he volleyed the ball to Ropapa Mensah who hit a one time shot into Alec Kann.
