Atlanta United 2 tied 1-1 against Ottawa Fury FC Tuesday at Fifth Third Bank Stadium in the resumption of its June 16 match that was suspended due to inclement weather. ATL UTD 2 held 70 percent possession and took 10 shots, but ultimately had to settle for a point which improved its home record to 3-1-4.
“I believe we had more of the ball, we had a specific way we wanted to attack them because they defend very deep,” said ATL UTD 2 head coach Scott Donnelly. “For the most part, we did that. We created many more chances, and probably should have put one away.
