Atlanta United today announced that Mikey Ambrose and Alex Tambakis will join Charleston Battery for the club’s USL Regular Season opener on Saturday, March 25 against FC Cincinnati. Each player will return to first team training the following week.
Ambrose made 18 appearances in USL last season for Orlando City B. Tambakis appeared in 19 regular season matches for Charleston last season and finished in eighth place in the league in saves (70). He also led the team in goals against average (1.05) and save percentage (.778).
Current Atlanta United players Romario Williams and Jeffrey Otoo will remain on loan with Charleston.
