Thursday evening, word broke from ESPN that Trae Young would not play in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals due to the foot injury he suffered in Game 3 of the series when stepping on the foot of an official.
ESPN Sources with @malika_andrews: Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young (foot) is out for Game 5 vs. Bucks tonight. Young will continue to rehab with hopes of playing in the Eastern Conference Finals Game 6 on Saturday in Atlanta.

Young did some shooting on the court before the game (something he could have done on the practice court before Game 4 in Atlanta), but ultimately will reportedly not suit up Thursday evening for the Hawks.
