The Atlanta Hawks had 17 players under contract for a couple of months, and with the signing of Richard Solomon, that number rose to 18. Now, it appears that the organization will head into training camp with the full allotment of 20 players, as Ryan Kelly and Will Bynum will join Mike Budenholzer and company in Athens.
Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution brings word that both Kelly and Bynum have signed training camp deals, and both players are interesting. Kelly is best known for his work at Duke, but the skilled, 6-foot-11 big man has appeared in more than 100 NBA games and he would be a theoretical fit in Budenholzer’s offensive system.
