The Atlanta Hawks’ hire of Travis Schlenk as general manager is as close to a slam dunk as one can get.
I don’t need to tell you that the Warriors are the King Midas of the NBA. Seemingly everything they touch, from an undersized guard out of Davidson to a 2nd round power forward out of Michigan State, turns to gold.

Schlenk worked for the Warriors for 12 seasons so he saw the harsh high and lows that the franchise went through and was vital in all player-related matters.
