Another game, another Vince Carter milestone.
The Hawks forward will play his 1,500th career game if he appears against the Heat Tuesday night in Miami. Only four players in league history have appeared in 1,500 games – Robert Parish (1,611), Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (1,560), Dirk Nowitzki (1,522)
and John Stockton (1,504).
In his 1,499th game on Sunday, Carter led all reserves and scored a season-high 17 points with two assists and one block in 20 minutes in a win over the Hornets.
Carter is playing his NBA-record 22nd season, his second with the Hawks. The eight-time all-star re-signed with the Hawks on Sept.
