With his six 3’s in the Hawks’ win vs. the Hornets Monday night, Trae Young became the fastest player in NBA history to reach 350 career 3-pointers made, according to Elias Sports.
Young reached the milestone in his 140th game in the league, edging out Portland’s Damian Lillard, who did so in his 142nd game. In his second year, Young is the 10th player in Hawks history to get there.
Young had actually been struggling from distance lately, going 3-for-28 over the past four games, before going 6-for-13 in Monday’s win, adding 31 points and 16 assists.
