The Atlanta Hawks played the Pistons in Detroit for the last game of their road trip. The starting lineup looked a little different with De’Andre Hunter at the four; Trae Young, Dyson Daniels, Zaccharie Risacher, De’Andre Hunter, and Onyeka Okongwu.
Hunter scored the first seven points of the game for the Hawks. Young griped with the officials after he was hit in the face and no foul was called. He, of course, was rewarded with a technical foul. The first quarter played even and the Pistons led 35-34 entering the second.
The Hawks overtook the lead early in the second.
