The Atlanta Hawks visited Madison Square Garden to take on the New York Knicks on Wednesday evening and, for three quarters, the mood was generally positive for the visiting team. Atlanta held a lead in the final moments of the third period but, with 1:13 to go, star point guard Trae Young suffered an injury that saw him writhing in pain.
Young needed help to exit the floor, and he was immediately led to the locker room for further evaluation.
Trae exited the game with what appeared to be a left leg injury.
