If you ever played the game series NBA 2K, you will understand how the game’s mechanics and system operates will either leave you elated or deflated. Some games your opponent is making every shot, some games the referee’s call every foul in their favor. That, unfortunately is how it works. Some games I’ve won, some games I lost. But that’s the beauty of the NBA 2K series; it’s a true simulation of the NBA. Superstar calls and home court advantage reigns supreme on the platform. So, to answer the question of whether or not the powers that be in the NBA front office force their influence on the referees, in my opinion it’s not necessarily true.
