Patterson has played in 16 of the Hawks’ first 22 games and saw 20+ minutes in six of those contests,. while seeing less than 10 minutes in another six. Those type of minutes fluctuations are difficult to deal with, especially for a guy who started his final three years a Pitt. But Patterson is taking it in stride.
“You’ve just got to stay optimistic. You know, I knew I wasn’t going to come in and play 20+ minutes every game with the team we have. I’ve just got to keep working. I know what Coach Bud wants from me and I know the system pretty well.
