Making his 2015 German National Team debut, Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schröder scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Germans past the Czech Republic 68-61 in an exhibition game Friday.
Schröder has already announced that he'll be playing for the German National Team later this summer at Eurobasket 2015, and Friday was the first of several tune-ups for him and the German squad in preparation for their biggest tournament of 2015.
Schröder went 6-12 from the field and added 3 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals in 26 minutes.
The top two teams from the 24-team Eurobasket 2015 field qualify for the 2016 Olympics in Brazil.
