Evans was with the Hawks in training camp but was cut before the season started in the Hawks’ roster crunch coming out of preseason. Evans hasn’t been in the NBA since 2015-16 with the Dallas Mavericks but has played with the Erie Bayhawks, Atlanta’s G League affiliate, this season.
