After two lackluster seasons pairing Trae Young and Dejounte Murray in the backcourt, the Hawks have finally decided to turn the page.
Late into the afternoon, news broke about the Hawks sending Dejounte Murray to the New Orleans Pelicans, but it took a few moments before the final trade details were revealed. Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN has the full breakdown of the trade:

The Hawks originally traded for Dejounte Murray in 2022, surrendering two unprotected first-round picks in 2025 and 2027 as well as a pick swap in 2026 and a Charlotte first-round pick.
