News recently broke of the Atlanta Hawks nearing an agreement to hire longtime assistant coach Chris Jent to the same position. Chris Jent was most recently an assistant coach with Ohio State University, where he played college basketball.

Chris Jent began his coaching career as an assistant with the Philadelphia 76ers back in the 2003-2004 season. After that he was an assistant and interim head coach with the Orlando Magic in the 2004-2005 season.
