The Atlanta Hawks put together one of their best offensive performances of the season on Wednesday, dominating the Memphis Grizzlies behind swift and effective ball movement. After two days off, Lloyd Pierce’s team will aim for a third straight victory on Saturday and, in the process, the Hawks will also look to avoid a season sweep at the hands of the Boston Celtics.
Atlanta has struggled mightily against Boston this season, losing three contests by a total of 47 points. The most recent battle between the two teams was the most competitive, however, as the Hawks tested the Celtics on a night best remembered for a dust-up between Marcus Smart and DeAndre’ Bembry.
