The month of March has been (very) kind to the Atlanta Hawks. Nate McMillan and company have won eight consecutive games — the team’s longest such streak since 2015 — and Atlanta remains unblemished for the month. That uptick includes a win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday afternoon and, after a break on Sunday, the Hawks return to the same floor at STAPLES Center to take on the L.A. Clippers on Monday evening.
The Hawks won the first meeting between the teams in Atlanta, toppling the Clippers in January. Of note, the Clippers were without both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George in that matchup.
