Hawks center Miles Plumlee will have arthroscopic surgery on his left knee and miss the remainder of the season.
Plumlee has appeared in just 18 games this season and not since Dec. 31. He suffered a left knee injury during a practice on March 11 and had a non-surgical procedure on Jan. 7. An MRI exam on Monday revealed a cartilage injury in the knee.
Plumlee is scheduled to have surgery on April 2. The team expects he will be available for training camp.
The Hawks (26-48) have eight games remaining in the regular season.
