Pero Antic's Best Move Might Be A One-of-a-Kind Pump Fake

Every time the decoy works, the duped party reacts with exasperation.

Sometimes it's a sharp wince. Other times, it's a dismissive arm wave flapped at no one in particular. The litigious ones search for a referee to hear their cry.

They've fallen for a Pero Pump Fake.

In Game 1 against Brooklyn, Pero Antic set a pick for Jeff Teague, then caught a pass from Teague out behind the three-point line. A bent knee and a cocked elbow baited Brook Lopez into jumping into a foul. Antic earned three free throws for his efforts.
