Lamar Patterson and Edy Tavares are both making the most of their latest NBA D-League assignments.
Patterson scored 20 points, dished out 9 assists, grabbed 5 rebounds and had 3 steals to help the Austin Spurs to a 105-100 win over the Bakersfield Jam on Thursday night.
Tavares was huge in the win as well. He scored 23 points on 9-10 shooting and pulled down 20 rebounds. You can watch the highlights here.
Coach Bud said he wants to find time for the younger players on the roster to play in the D-League when it makes sense, and the two rookies certainly benefitted from getting some run on Thursday.
