The Atlanta Hawks have had a fascinating and action-packed offseason, and the rumors surrounding Kent Bazemore have heated up in recent weeks, as he is one of the few players on the team that is better suited to playing for a playoff contender rather than a team in the throes of a full-scale rebuild.
Two of the teams being bandied about as possible trade partners with the Hawks for Bazemore are the Houston Rockets and the New Orleans Pelicans.
Both teams made quite a bit of noise in the Western Conference playoffs last year, though they both could’ve used more wing depth and steady three-and-D play.
