For those fans looking to plan a trip (or several) to Philips Arena during the 2016-2017 season, the NBA schedule release is like Christmas morning. On Thursday evening, the league provided the gift for every Atlanta Hawks to unwrap, as the full, 82-game slate was unveiled.
First on the docket for the Hawks will be a home game against the Washington Wizards, as Atlanta opens the schedule at Philips Arena for the second straight season. Elsewhere, the city of Atlanta will not be hosting a game on Martin Luther King Jr.
