Earlier this month, the NBA’s City Edition Uniforms were released. While some teams kept their 2017-18 edition, other teams developed entire new concepts.
The Atlanta Hawks were among teams who updated their uniforms, and rolled out a special edition to celebrate their 50th anniversary.

Although the inspiration for this uniform was spot on, the end product is not necessarily something to celebrate. The side-paneling was meant to give a wing (bird) like feel, but with the colors chosen it embodies more of a zebra.
