Miles Plumlee will undergo arthroscopic surgery, miss rest of 2018-19 season

Nearly three months have passed since veteran center Miles Plumlee took the floor for the Atlanta Hawks and, on Jan. 4, the team announced that the 30-year-old “underwent a non-surgical procedure” on his left knee. The original timetable for re-evaluation stood at two weeks but, on March 11, Plumlee experienced a setback and, on Tuesday, the Hawks announced that arthroscopic surgery will be needed (on April 2) to address the issue.

As a result, Plumlee will be sidelined for the remainder of the regular season and, while that is not a surprise given his lengthy absence, it is certainly worth noting.
