After being arrested last month, Atlanta Hawks forward Mike Scott now faces up to 25 years in prison on two felony drug charges, per the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chris Vivlamore.
An initial court date in the case could take several months to be placed on the calendar as the drugs have been set to an independent lab for processing, according to the Banks County Assistant District Attorney. That would mean an initial court appearance would come during the upcoming NBA season.
Scott was arrested back on July 30 after a vehicle he was a passenger in that was driven by his brother was pulled over in Banks County, where police found 35.
