Fresh off a surprisingly dominant victory in Boston, the Atlanta Hawks return home to begin a six-game homestand on Wednesday evening. While this stretch of action at Philips Arena is littered with difficult match-ups, the Dallas Mavericks arrive to kick things off in what appears to be a favorable spot for Paul Millsap and company.
The Mavs have won back-to-back games but, in general, Dallas has been underwhelming this season. Rick Carlisle’s team will also come to Atlanta without Wesley Matthews, who will miss the game with a hip injury, and the Mavs recently parted ways with both Andrew Bogut and Deron Williams.
