Malcolm Delaney was one of the more obscure signings of the off-season.
The 27-year-old Euroleague star signed a 2-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks this summer and few outside of the organization and hardcore fans expected any form of production out of that signing.
But for those that know anything about Delaney, his performance against the Spurs on Saturday night was hardly a surprise. The former Virginia Tech standout finished with 13 points on 4-6 shooting and also dished out 6 assists in a 101-92 loss to the Spurs.
Delaney got the start at point guard as Dennis Schroder and the rest of the starting five, were given the night off.
