Lloyd Pierce set to become Atlanta Hawks head coach

Update: The Hawks have formally announced an agreement in principle.

The Atlanta Hawks have been operating without a head coach since the decision to mutually part ways with Mike Budenholzer but, after an extensive search, that is reportedly set to change with the hiring of a replacement in Philadelphia 76ers assistant Lloyd Pierce.

The Atlanta Hawks will announce Lloyd Pierce as their head coach on Monday, sources told ESPN's The Undefeated. https://t.co/i37zO4ogkp
