Update: The Hawks have formally announced an agreement in principle.
The Atlanta Hawks have been operating without a head coach since the decision to mutually part ways with Mike Budenholzer but, after an extensive search, that is reportedly set to change with the hiring of a replacement in Philadelphia 76ers assistant Lloyd Pierce.

Pierce’s contract will reportedly be for three years with the option for a fourth.
