Not only has Lamar Patterson surprised everyone by grabbing a spot in the Hawks rotation he has performed well while doing it.
While much has been made about who has been missing from the Atlanta Hawks' rotation so far this season, there has' t been enough about the guy who has actually been playing. When training camp began, Lamar Patterson looked like a hopeful to claim the Hawks' final roster spot, but he surprised everyone when he opened the season as one of the team's top wing options.
"He plays with a kind of poise/understanding of where everybody is and making the right decision, making the right play," Mike Budenholzer said when asked about Patterson.
