It appears that Lamar Patterson has found a new NBA home.
Chris Vivlamore of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that Patterson, who was waived by the Atlanta Hawks earlier this week, has been claimed off waivers by the Sacramento Kings.
The 24-year-old guard appeared in 35 games for the Hawks during the 2015-2016 season, after landing in Atlanta as a second-round pick in the 2014 NBA Draft. Patterson was an early factor in the rotation for Mike Budenholzer a season ago, but in the wake of adding two rookies and a handful of veterans headlined by Dwight Howard and Kris Humphries, the Hawks encountered a roster crunch that led to the team moving on from Patterson.
