Former Georgia Tech and NBA point guard Kenny Anderson was hospitalized after suffering a stroke.
Anderson, 48, suffered the stroke on Saturday.
His wife, Natasha Anderson, issued the following statement on Tuesday: “We would like to thank everyone for reaching out on behalf of Kenny. Our family is extremely grateful for all the prayers and love that we have received. We appreciate you continuing to respect our privacy as Kenny heals.”
The New York Daily News reported that Anderson is “doing well.”
Anderson played at Georgia Tech from 1989-91 after a storied high school career in New York City.
