So the home of the College Park Skyhawks, the Hawks’ G League affiliate that Tauheed “2 Chainz” Epps has been a part-owner of since last May, is right down the road from where he helped the Eagles to a basketball state championship in 1993. It’s not far from the daycare he and his wife own.
Basketball is Epps’ first love, and with the team moving from Erie to play the 2019-2020 season in College Park, Epps’ hometown, rebranding from the BayHawks to the Skyhawks, he’s more connected to it than ever.
“It just felt like everything came full circle for me,” Epps said.
