Rookie Kevin Huerter scored 19 points but the Hawks lost to the Celtics 129-108 Friday night in Boston.
Huerter tied his career high for points, which he set Wednesday night in a loss at Dallas.
Kyrie Irving scored 24 points in three quarters to lead the Celtics to their eighth straight victory.
John Collins had 11 points and 14 rebounds for the Hawks, who have lost six of seven.
The Hawks had nine of their 24 turnovers in the first quarter.
Irving also had five assists, five rebounds and four steals. He scored 12 points in the first quarter and helped Boston race to a 23-5 lead.
