Travis Schlenk is leaving his Assistant General Manager position with Golden State, to become the GM for the Atlanta Hawks. One of Schlenk’s most heralded moves during his twelve-year tenure with Golden State was drafting All-Star power forward Draymond Green in 2012.
Not including Anthony Davis, seven power forwards were selected before the undersized Green in the 2012 NBA Draft. Five years later, none of those seven power forwards have achieved as many accolades during their NBA careers as Draymond Green.
Since the 2012 draft, Green has made an All-NBA second team, All-NBA third team, NBA All-defensive first team, led the league in steals, and won two NBA championships.
