The Atlanta Hawks defeated the New Orleans Pelicans by a score of 99-94 tonight, winning their 20th game of the season. This was a nice victory, finishing a back-to-back that started last night in Orlando.
New Orleans led after the first quarter and at halftime, although Atlanta cut the lead to five points (47-42) after Malcolm Delaney was fouled on a 3-point attempt at the buzzer. The Hawks played very well during the third quarter, scoring 33 points, and led 75-72 as the fourth quarter began.
The Pelicans fought back, and took an 88-85 lead with under four minutes remaining.
