The Hawks have waived Jaylen Morris.
The shooting guard appeared in six games for the Hawks last season. He averaged 4.7 points, 2.7 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 16.3 minutes. He was on the Hawks’ entry in the recently completed summer leagues in Salt Lake City and Las Vegas.
Morris had a non-guaranteed contract. He signed a multi-year deal with the Hawks in March after he joined the team on two 10-day contracts.
The Hawks have a roster of 14 with 13 guaranteed contracts. Antonius Cleveland is the non-guaranteed contract.
