Another grueling stretch of the schedule will end for the Atlanta Hawks Saturday night when they wrap up a four-games in five nights stretch against the San Antonio Spurs. The Hawks have gone 2-1 over that stretch but will have to reverse a trend if they are to beat the Spurs.
Atlanta has lost nine straight games to the Spurs and 18 straight regular season games in San Antonio. Mike Budenholzer has built the Hawks in the Spurs image, but he has had no luck against his former boss Gregg Popovich against whom he has lost all four meetings.
