The Hawks will sign Jordan Sibert to a 10-day contract, according to a person familiar with the situation. The guard has been playing for the Erie BayHawks, the team’s G League affiliate.
The Hawks have not yet announced the deal.
Sibert, 6-foot-4, 187 pounds, played for the University of Dayton team that reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament in 2014 after wins over Ohio State, Syracuse and Stanford. He has also played professionally in Greece and Germany.
Sibert, 26, has appeared in 34 games for Erie this season, including 26 starts. He averaged 15.
