Thursday’s final Utah Summer League game between the Atlanta Hawks and the Utah Jazz began at a snail’s pace but finally picked up for the Hawks with Omari Spellman nailing a three pointer late in the opening period.
Spellman continued to play well and showed off a nice ability to take his man off the dribble here and finish through contact.
Jock Landale, who was an undrafted addition to the Hawks Summer League roster, had a solid night on defense which began with this rejection in the second quarter.
The Hawks probably were ecstatic to only be down 10 at the half despite a dreadful first half offensively.
