The Atlanta Hawks were in Oklahoma on Sunday evening to take on the Thunder. Going into the game, both teams started the season 2-0 and were looking for their first 3-0 starts in years.
The Hawks had an uphill battle to climb as De’Andre Hunter was ruled out for the game with knee inflammation, and Bogdan Bogdanovic is still out with a hamstring injury. With the injury to Hunter, rookie Zaccharie Risacher got the first start of his career.
Trae Young got off to a fast start, knocking down two deep three-pointers early in the first quarter.
