The Atlanta Hawks have been linked to a number of trade discussions in advance of Thursday afternoon’s NBA trade deadline and, before 3:00 pm ET arrived, the team reportedly agreed to a deal with the Memphis Grizzlies. While it does not include any of the more prominent figures discussed in the rumor mill, Michael Wallace of Grizzlies.com reports that the Hawks will send second-year guard Tyler Dorsey to Memphis in exchange for veteran guard Shelvin Mack.
However, Chris Vivlamore of the AJC reports that Mack will be waived by the Hawks upon arrival.
Though not official at the time of this post, the deal has been confirmed my multiple outlets.
