The Hawks plan to fill one of their needed two roster spots by converting the two-way contract of rookie guard Jaylen Adams to an NBA deal.
The pending move, first reported by ESPN and confirmed by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, will give Adams a partial guaranteed for next season.
The move would bring the Hawks’ roster to 13 players. They need to add one more in the coming days. The Hawks bought out veteran point guard Jeremy Lin earlier this week and lost Daniel Hamilton during a trade deadline move.
The Hawks signed Adams to a two-way contract last summer.
