In what was a busy Saturday with league transactions following the end of the NBA’s moratorium period, the Hawks made one of their previously agreed upon trades official.
The Hawks announced the deal that brings Allen Crabbe, a conditional 2020 first-round draft pick and the draft rights to No. 17 pick Nickeil Alexander-Walker to Atlanta and sends Taurean Prince and a 2021 second-round pick to Brooklyn. Alexander-Walker will end up with New Orleans as part of the pending trade for the No. 4 pick De’Andre Hunter coming to the Hawks.
