The Atlanta Hawks have assigned rookies Walter Tavares and Lamar Patterson to the Austin Spurs of the NBA D-League.
With a healthy roster in place, the Atlanta Hawks will turn again to the D-League to get a couple of their young players some in-game action. The Hawks announced on Wednesday that they have assigned Walter Tavares and Lamar Patterson to the Austin Spurs via the league's flexible assignment rule.
This will be Patterson's third D-League assignment this season. He appeared in two games with the Spurs in November and returned in early December for a one-game stint.
